Absolutely excited for this man you know I’ve been following your journey the last four years and just really excited to see what you’re gonna come up with for transformers. I love that this is something that you grew up with and you’re passionate about and you’re now gonna be able to tell the stories and literally play with the toys and tell those stories with, so I can’t wait to see what emotional journey you put us on and I’m sure the action is going to be stellar. Out of all the comics that are releasing this week, Transformers is the one I'm the most excited about. G.O.D.S. might be a close second, but even then, that doesn't have autobots and decepticons written and drawn by you. Can't wait to pick up the first issue!

Love the Miura recommendation. I've always thought about looking into other work from him besides Berserk. I think given how massive and indelible it is for me I worried I'd spend too much time comparing and not enough just enjoying something different from him.
Also, I've been on the look out for King of Wolves! I recently got into Berserk and I've powered through them. I'm on Vol 38 and learned about King of Wolves while looking for more Kentaro Miura books. I think there's an English version from Dark Horse but it's out of print. I'm hoping it gets reprinted soon!

Dark Horse put out a TPb in 2005. It looks like it’s in English. I found one for sale on the eBay’s. It’s up for sale for $299.99.

I think it stands on its own quite well, and is enough of a departure from his Berserk stuff that I wouldn't worry about that aspect.
